August 3 - 4 Announcements

St. Anthony’s Announcements

18th Sunday in Ordinary Time

July 3-4 , 2024

Good evening/ Good morning. Thank you for joining us today for this Eucharistic celebration.

We’d especially like to welcome new parishioners, visitors and guests.

Today we celebrate the 18th Sunday in Ordinary Time.

Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased. This week we especially want to pray for Jerry and Pat Northam, Jan Haggerty, and Glenna Diskin.

Jan Haggerty has moved to Heritage Health and would love to have visitors.

Please pray for the repose of the soul of Shirley “Sam” Mohr who passed away at the nursing home on Wednesday. Also keep her daughter Dorothy and family in your prayers,

If you were unable to attend or watch EWTN of the National Eucharistic Congress, there are numerous videos from the Congress on YouTube including speakers Father Mike Schmitz, Bishop Barron, Lila Rose, Chris Stefanik and many more.

Join us for coffee and donuts following Mass on Sunday, August 4. All are welcome to come to the Hall for food and fellowship.

T-shirts will be on display and may be ordered.

The Cry Room is available for use. It is located on the southwest side of the church and may be entered prior to Mass thru the door to the left of the Alter. One may also enter from the outside door.

Next Sunday is loose change collection for the St. Vincent de Paul Society.

A big thank you to the special events committee for organizing our church picnic. The Church picnic pictures are now on the website: https://www. stanthonyhoopeston.com
