Service Awards
St. Anthony Catholic Church Service Awards: The Annual Service Award and Lifetime Service Award Ceremony was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025, following the 9:00 mass. What a joyful day! Three people received the award for annual service for 2024. Over 30 people received the Lifetime Service Award. Their names were added to plaques that are displayed in the parish hall.
Awarding service, although not necessary, has been a tradition at St. Anthony’s for decades. However, it laxed over more recent years. The current parish council decided to revive the tradition, so many nominees were presented to the council by the parishioners of the church.
Danny and Linda Lugo, Eric and Angela Layden, Catholic Heart Work Camp Missionaries, Special Events Committee, and Parish Council provided a delicious hot breakfast, program, certificates, and awards. There were over 150 people present who helped celebrate the joy of service and the people who contributed so much to St. Anthony’s.
Both awards will continue. In late 2025, nominees will be requested for the 2025 Annual Service Award. Lifetime Service Award nominations may be submitted throughout the year. Both awards will be celebrated again in 2026 with new awardees. In the meantime, please continue to donate your time and talent to St. Anthony’s.
