We are sad to announce the passing of Mary Lou Ault, or organist for many years. A visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Anderson Funeral Home, 427 E. Main St. Hoopeston, IL. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
What a busy week it has been at St. Anthony’s.
Many thanks to the Special Events committee and parish council for organizing and providing a wonderful meal for our service award recipients last Sunday.
Several attended the Penance service on Tuesday. Thanks to the women who provided a meal for the priests before the service.
Thank you to the Liturgy Committee and all who attended Matt Faley’s presentation, Return to Me on Wednesday. If you were unable to attend, you can now watch the presentation on St. Anthony’s Facebook page.
And finally, thank you to all who prepared and served the meal for Judi Benjamin’s funeral on Friday.

There will be no daily mass on Tuesday. Father will be in Peoria for the Chrism mass.
The CCD classes will be presenting Shadow Stations of the Cross on Wednesday at 5PM in the Parish Hall. Everyone is invited to attend.
If you would be willing to participate in the washing of the feet at Holy Thursday’s mass, please contact Debbie in the office.
Please mark your calendars for St. Anthony’s Spring Cleanup Day on Saturday, April 26 from 8AM-12 PM. Lunch will be served at noon.
There is a sign up sheet in the back of the church for the numerous cleaning jobs.
The Stations of the Cross will be on Fridays of Lent at 6:30 PM.
Our Lenten Parish Night presentation was live-streamed this past Wednesday and is still available on our Facebook page. We had a few hiccups with the production and the first few minutes are without audio.
We are in need of more help on Thursdays for Adoration. Please contact Debbie in the office if you would be willing to be a Partner with a current adorer.

Our Parish Recognition breakfast was a wonderful success with many past parishioners visiting. WE FILLED THE CHURCH!!!

Holy Thursday Easter Vigil Lector is Lisa Lukas with Ushers being Tom K & John Lucas. Eucharistic Ministers are Debbie & Lisa L. Good Friday Lector is Linda Sheppard & Tom Kasallis with Duane Sheppard as usher.
No Stations of the Cross on Good Friday. There will be no adoration from 9 to 3 and there will be no morning mass.
