January 4-5

Thank you for joining us today for this Eucharistic Celebration.  Welcome to visitors, guests and parishioners.

  • Today is the The Epiphany of the Lord .  Today’s readings begin on p. 56 in your missal.

  • Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased. This week we especially want to pray for Father Peter Pilon, Nick Fonte, John Lukas, and Jim Benjamin.

  • The liturgy/Eucharistic committee will meet Monday at 6:30 weather permitting.

  • Faith Formation and adult classes resume Wednesday, January 8.

  • Please join us for donuts and coffee immediately following 9AM mass.

  • Pray for Father Peter Pilion who had two strokes and is a diabetic Fr. Pilion is in the hospital in Bloomington, IL.

  • The Faith Formation and adult classes resume Jan. 8, 2025 at 5pm. OCIA classes will be at 6:15.

  • We are still collecting plastic bags for the Methodist Church for the mat making project. You may leave your bags at the back of the church or drop them off at the office. Anyone interested in helping put the mats together let me know. They have made at least one mat and usually work on Tuesdays.

  • Mass intention requests are needed. Please consider offering a mass for loved ones, both living and deceased. There is no better way to honor those you love, than to offer a Mass for their intentions.

  • Believe like Mary, Trust like Joseph, Hope like Sheppards, Seek like Wise Men, Praise like Angels, Love Like Jesus. Borrowed from the St. Mary’s bulletin. Words for inspiration.

  • A HUGE THANK YOU to all of our volunteers who work hard all year and are very dedicated. All of us contribute in some way to make St. Anthony’s what it is growing into.

  • Let us say a prayer of gratitude to our CCD teachers as they start the new year.
