The Ascension of the Lord
May 11-12, 2024

 Happy Mother’s Day!!   Thank you for joining us today for this Eucharistic celebration.

We’d especially like to welcome new parishioners, visitors and guests.  

•  This week we celebrate The Ascension of the Lord.  The readings begin on p.154.

• There will be a short training for Eucharistic Ministers immediately following the 9AM mass.

• The seventh and last  session of Jesus and the Eucharist is Monday, May 13. We will meet  at 5 pm in the parish hall for an Agape feast.   All are invited to attend.

• Wednesday, May 15 will be the last session of Faith Formation. Families, please join us for our end of the year party from 5-6PM.  Thank you to all of our teachers for their faithful service in teaching our young people this year. And thank you to parents for faithfully bringing your children to class each week.

• Our Rummage Sale is just around the corner.  Donations will begin to be accepted on Thursday, May 16 from Noon to 6PM.  Donations will also be accepted the following weeks. Please see the bulletin for more information.

• On Sunday, May 18, Pentecost Sunday, we are pleased to welcome Aaron and Lindsey Hand and their daughters, Junea and Miriam into our church family. The family will be baptized and then Lindsey and Aaron will be confirmed and receive their first communion.  There will be a welcome meal in the parish hall immediately following Mass.

• Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased, and for all who are listed in today’s bulletin. This week we especially want to pray for Norm Fraley, Beverly McIntyre, George Pracz, John Sheridan, and Jeanne Shore.
