Youth Group Cookout

The parish youth group enjoyed a cook-out on May 5th at the Sheppard’s Farm. Students who were recently confirmed were invited to join the group. This group is open to all students who are confirmed. It meets twice a month on Sunday evenings. On the 5th, students enjoyed hamburgers and all the trimmings. They also played games, and taught Father Ignatius how to play the game of “BAGs” also known as “Cornhole.” Turns out Father is very athletic and excelled at the game. He is an accomplished soccer player! The evening concluded with a student discussion on how to grow their faith in their daily lives. The group will be taking the summer off, but will return in September. The group is led by Linda Sheppard.
