  • St. Anthony’s Announcements

    • The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe

    November 23-24 , 2024

    Good evening/ Good morning. Thank you for joining us today for this Eucharistic celebration.

    •  Today is the last Sunday in Ordinary time for year B.  Advent begins next Sunday, December 1.  Today we celebrate The Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.   The readings begin on p.228.

    • Please pray for all St. Anthony’s friends and family members who are ill or deceased. This week we especially want to pray for Jesse Gonzalez ,Margaret Feller, John Lukas, Pat and Jerry Northam, Loretta Alt, Jim Benjamin, and Glenna Diskin.  If you have a friend or family member that you would like us to pray for during mass, please contact Debbie in the office or Linda Sheppard.

    • There will be no Faith Formation, Adult Bible Study or OCIA classes Wednesday evening before Thanksgiving,

    • Please join us for Thanksgiving Mass on Thursday, November 28 at 9AM.  There will be no Adoration on Thanksgiving,

    • Albs for Altar Servers and Father Ignatius have been ordered.  If you would like to purchase an alb or make a donation towards a purchase, you may contact Debbie in the office or drop a donation in an envelope marked, “Albs” into the basket. Thanks so much.

    • Our goal for this year’s Annual Diocean Appeal is $17,206. To date, we have received pledges and donations for $8525 which is 50% of our goal.  Thank you to all who have pledged or made a donation!  

    • Please be sure to take a bulletin today.  There are 2 inserts. One for EWTN programming for Advent. The other is a list of items for donating to our Giving Tree this year.  Giving tree items can be brought to Mass beginning next week.  Thank you for your generosity.  

    •  Mark your calendars for St. Anthony’s 2nd annual Christmas Party on Saturday, December 14th following the 5PM mass. Join us for another evening of fun, food, games, and a raffle of some very special items!  We hope you’ll plan to join us!

    • Just a reminder to  check St. Anthony’s website for upcoming activities, new pictures, and a wide variety of resources.  Thanks to Ron Egolf and Kim Burch for keeping the website updated!

    • Students who are receiving their First Communion or Confirmation this year,  please sign the attendance sheet in the back of the church showing you attended Mass.

  • The next Youth Faith Formation and Adult Class is Dec. 4th at 5 pm. OCIA will meet at 6:15 pm.

  • New albs have been ordered in adult and youth sizes. If you would like to donate for these please contact the office.

  • The Special Events committee is planning a Christmas celebration on Sat. Dec. 14 after 5 pm mass. All are welcome. Food, fun, and fellowship are included. There will also be games and a raffle.

  • St. Nicholas Holiday Bazaar Sat. Dec. 7th at Schlarman South Campus 9 am to 4pm. There will be over 25 local vendors & artisans.

  • On Sunday Dec. 8, we will have Our Lady of Guadalupe celebration after the 11 am Mass. A meal will be served at the Parish Hall with lots of good food.

  • On Thursday, Dec. 12 at 7 am there is another celebration for Our Lady of Guadalupe with songs and the Rosary. Afterwards, there will be a light breakfast served at the Parish Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend both celebrations.

  • Please notice Thanksgiving Day Mass is at 9am and there is no adoration that day.

  • The Book of the dead is placed on the podium to the left of the alter, if you would like to enter a loved one.
